Diana's Throne Slot Canyon
Diana’s Throne Slot Canyon is a 2.3 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Mount Carmel Junction, Utah and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for rock climbing. Length 2.3 miElevation gain 459 ftRoute type Loop Rock climbing Via ferrata Rocky Scramble Off trail. The canyon is beginner friendly with strong leadership. This is one of the most entertaining and spectacular routes around, so don't miss it! The slot drains the bluffs to the east which are on the east side of Goblin Valley. The slot is located behind the arrow on the below photo (taken right from the picnic ground in Goblin Valley).
On September 3nd, 2017, Nipun, Florian, Lacie, Derek, Tyler, Steph, and I took a relaxing lap through Diana's Throne Canyon. It was an excellent way to round out the trip.

Then we turned an easy rappel into an opportunity for new folks to practice downclimbing.
It was a fine trip with a great group of people.
